Middle School Ball in The Fall!!!

Diamond Sports Park is going to have a Fall season  for Middle School Baseball and Softball.  The season will start September 9th and go through October 25th. The is a  more relaxed season than the spring season. Every player that registers will play for a division on their school team. Tryouts will be held at Diamond Sports Park the first week of September, to determine what level each player will play at All players that are trying out MUST register on the website prior to trying out. There will a $125 registration fee. This fee goes towards jerseys and hats as well as field maintenance and umpires. There will be one practice a week as well as one game a week for each team.  Mandatory Coaches Meeting will be held the second week of August date snd time will be announced at a later date. Players that are entering grades 5-8 are eligible to register. Any player that is attending a private school or out of county is also encouraged to register and teams with be formed accordingly.

Diamond Sports Park is located at SW 122nd Street (Parker Road) and is undergoing substantial renovations, and will soon, once again, be a premier destination for sporting events in our community. Diamond is the home of i9 Sports and the Alachua County Middle School Baseball & Softball Program, and will soon start hosting travel baseball / softball and other tournaments, bringing visitors from all over Florida and beyond. More than 1000 people currently visit Diamond on the weekends for i9 Sports, and another 1000 will be in attendance on weeknights for the Middle School Baseball and Softball games. With 11 fields, a newly renovated concession area, and professional management on site, Diamond Sports Park is once again, THE place to play!

SUMMER SPORTS and ACTIVITIES AT DIAMOND

Starting May 21st DSP will have the Adult Coed League Tues/Thurs nights.

June 5th is the opening night of Adult Kickball

June 3- July 5 there will be a baseball school running 9-11am Mon,Tues, and Thurs. See details on the flyer on DSP facebook page.

ADULT COED Softball LEAGUE

REGISTRATION ENDS MAY 13th

Diamond Sports Park is starting up an adult coed softball league starting  May 21st. Registration can be found under the adult coed tab. The fees will be $500 per team this will INCLUDE umpire and gate fee. Games will be played on Tues and Thurs nights with 630 and 745 start times. There will be a managers meeting on Monday June 3 at 6:30pm.

All teams must be registered by Friday May 31st in order to set the schedule.

Middle School Baseball and Softball Program

Diamond Sports Park and Just4FunSports is offering a competitive  middle school baseball and softball program. We are excited to announce that Diamond Sports Park is under new management and is currently undergoing renovations in preparation for the start of the middle school season. There will be onsite management that should alleviate any concerns that have been brought up in the past.  The season is fast approaching and we are looking forward to an even larger turnout than there has been previously. Each school that participates will have the ability to field multiple teams.

There will be a $3 gate fee for adults (16 and over)

You will also have a chance to purchase a reduce rate season pass for $30 during the week of Jamboree.
