This is a 6 week program with 2 games a piece. Followed by a elimination tournament.

Baseball Pitching rule change:

Pitchers may only pitch a maximum of three innings per game.

Pitchers may move to catcher and catcher may move to pitcher

Students will be bringing home these fliers in the next few weeks from their school. 

PIZZA PARTY CONTEST!!!

The team that brings in the Most cases of AQUAFINA water wins a PIZZA PARTY!! This is a league wide contest. The END date will be February 10th and the Pizza Party will be that week!. 

REMINDER:

OPENING CEREMONIES START AT 6PM ON MONDAY 2/17.

All Players need to be at the field by 5:30.   unless otherwise stated by their coaches.

Diamond Sports Park is located at SW 122nd Street (Parker Road) and is undergoing substantial renovations, and will soon, once again, be a premier destination for sporting events in our community. Diamond is the home of i9 Sports and the Alachua County Middle School Baseball & Softball Program, and will soon start hosting travel baseball / softball and other tournaments, bringing visitors from all over Florida and beyond. More than 1000 people currently visit Diamond on the weekends for i9 Sports, and another 1000 will be in attendance on weeknights for the Middle School Baseball and Softball games. With 11 fields, a newly renovated concession area, and professional management on site, Diamond Sports Park is once again, THE place to play!

DSP is starting a baseball and softball  Elementary School program this spring for 4th and 5th graders. Stay tuned!!More details to come this week!!Games will begin the week of February 17th.

Coaches meeting for anyone wanting to get involved in this program will be January 6th @ 7pm Diamond Sports Park in the EDEP portables out front.

There will be a $5 gate fee for adults (14 and over)

You will also have a chance to purchase a reduce rate season pass the first week of games.
